Set around a central car park, the hotel Campanile Fougères is located outside the city centre, but it is close to the motorways and main roads, and the optional extensive buffet breakfast (payable on site) will help you get off to a good start. The reception closes at 23:00, so if you intend to arrive later than this, please phone the hotel in order to obtain your access code. Fougères is a 1000 years-old. The surrounding countryside, megaliths in the nearby forest, and intersection of Roman roads in the Nançon valley show evidence of an even more remote past. The city has been remodelled to enhance its best features and reveal its true architectural heritage.
